Manny runners and endurance athletes are on the edge of low to no testosterone. Some of them even abandon their sport. They do not even try to come back. They do not try out things the long term. You need to get 5 to 10 habits and pursue it every single day for 6 months to a year to reap results ! I am 100% sure, that as the human body is so capable of repairing itself, that it is possible to get out from the mouse trap and get back to high performance ! These upcoming tips will also help, non sportive low testosterone sufferers !
• Cease all anaerobic training ! Start following the Maffetone method ! Don't argue, at this moment you don't have a choice ! Just use the 175bpm - age heart rate formula for at least 3months, then go up to 180bpm - age and never exceed this during endurance training ! Ever !
• Do some heavy lifting ! Not much , just enough ! 3 times 20 minutes a week is enough ! The rest can be light ballistic lifting, like power-clubs or kettlebells !
• Sleep a lot and sleep early ! Before 9pm till you wake with no alarm !
• Get good nutritional habits ! I am not going to praise here about high fat diets ! However, get off 100% all grains ! No quinoa, rice, wheat or any kind of cereal and non-cereal grains ! No buckwheat, no millet !
Get off all processed and low grade oils ! What you need is olive oil, grass fed butter, coconut oil !
Get off all sugars ! No honey, no cane sugar, no melasses and no sirup d'agave !
• What do you have to eat ? Crap load of veggies, some fruits, some meat, some fish, some eggs, raw uncooked fresh veggies, mostly greens, some oils, some butter, some nuts and seeds, olives and avocados, sea produce and sweat water produce and off you go ! Anything comes with an ingredients list, not good ! Eating out ? F-it ! I eat out once every 2nd year, guess what, I am still a happy person ! Instead of popping a burger and coke, you can get a bottle of sparkling water, a bag of quality nuts and a box of organic cherry tomatoes with buffalo mozzarella ! 800kcals off you go, satisfied and healthy !
• 1 to 3, 5minutes long ice-cold shower a day ! Do not soak yourself hours under a hot dusche ! Do not use the bacteria infected jacuzzi ! Want to get hot ? Do a 2 times 20minute sauna session and dip yourself into a cold pool after !
Swim in ice water 2 to 5 times a week if you can !
• Practice breathing, deeply ! Wim Hof style or other free dive style breath hold techniques ! Every day !
• Use stingy nettle daily ! Very important ! As a tea, but as a fresh juice as well, get a juicer and squeeze out all the goodies ! Find a place far away from roads !
• Use ginseng daily, with propolis drops, royal jelly and ginger in your infusion ! Every day !
• Do a couple of tribulus terestis cures ! Maybe 3 times one month a year !
• B12 shots, magnesium and epsom salt baths, high magnesium and calcium intake, like nigari and eggshell powder ...
Research for other remedies and swipe over instant cures ! Look for something you can do for your life, for decades, what ever is sustainable, affordable and has no ill side effects !
